The model’s husband and father of their two daughters reportedly admitted that he killed her in March, but said it was to protect himself after she had previously attacked him with a knife.

He made the confession after he’d earlier told authorities that he came home to find her dead and mutilated.

Thomas showed a “remarkably high level of criminal energy, lack of empathy, and cold-bloodedness after killing his wife,” police noted in court documents, according to local outlet

Prosecutors told the Supreme Court on Tuesday they wanted to end their fight to preserve the convictions of Hernan Lopez and Argentine sports marketing firm Full Play.
